How do I store organic materials?

All organic materials are chemically metastable in the presence of elemental oxygen. It is generally recommended to place organic reference materials in dry and dark storage in a refrigerator or even freezer. Upon retrieval, please let the closed containers gently warm to room temperature before opening, in order to avoid condensation and entrapment of moisture.
